I am a nature and wildlife photographer who loves to share the world I see through my lens, capturing memorable scenes and turning them into images that speak.
I am originally from Edmonton, AB and moved to the north in 1990. After spending 16 years in Inuvik, capturing the beauty of a spectacular place, I moved to Yellowknife and have proudly called it home since then.
I have been photographing the world I see since high school with film before graduating to the digital format in 1997.
The thing I love about the north so much, is the color. The skies always have something to offer anyone who stops to take a look. The aurora, sunsets, cloud formations and rainbows are unique each and every time you see them. I take photos of places and views that seize my attention and hope they capture the attention of those who view them.
I have had several photos displayed at numerous photo exhibits in Europe. Twice my photos have represented Northern Canada in exhibits at the Stadsmuseum Harderwijk in The Netherlands. I was one of four Canadian photographers included in the Best Top Photographers coffee table book of photos from around the world. I have also had several photos published in textbooks, magazines and Won the best photo for 2015 with SpectacularNWT/NWT Tourism. I was also honored to have one of my photos given to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during his visit to Yellowknife in 2017.
