Yes, I agree with you. This is just a giant ipod touch but overpriced. Maybe if they reduced the price to $300, it might be worth it. I think the USB port and built in cam is definitely needed as well as flash compatibility.

Maybe when they come out with a second version, it might have those missing stuff. Until then, it is hard to justify the expected prices.

This is a great article. I agree with many of your points. I thought the exact same thing about their check-out process, but hope this will get better with time.

Comparing an HP Desktop to a MacBook Pro seems a very odd thing for a computer expert to do. I don’t want to drop a lot of time on this so here is a quick comparison of a Dell and an iMac. The price difference is not double though it is higher for the iMac. The higher price is somewhat offset by the generally better system offered by Apple, wireless mouse and keyboard, bigger hard drive and more memory. This is Apple Education price. Even with fine tuning, it calls into question the credibility of your statements about double the price etc. You also skirt the question of viruses disabling the machines. Of course, by admitting it is a costly problem for Windows users, it subverts your argument further – please don’t pull out the obscurity argument, it has been debunked as the cause for the differential in such problems. If you insist, I can send along credible information supporting this point of view. By credible I mean sourced from a company that actually does not sell virus protection etc.

you’ve hit the nail on the head there….everytime i try and lose weight and fail its because im not doing it truly for myself.

its easy when you have a reason a goal. mine was applying for a job that required the fitness. 3 stone down and im a lot happier!

You know what really helps when you are trying to lose weight is looking in the mirror nude after about 2 weeks of working out. The changes will definitely be visible, even if the scale does not budge. That is a great feeling, and always encourages me to keep going.
